But it’s about more than what’s on the shelf. We’re here to build genuine relationships with pets and their people, offer trusted advice, and create a welcoming place where every customer—two-legged or four-legged—feels like part of the Milo’s family.

MEET THE OWNERS

We’re Daniel and Allison Bernardi, proud to live, work, and raise our family right here in Sackville! In 2025, we turned our lifelong love of animals into a dream of our own and opened Milo’s Pet Shop—a place where pets and their people could find great products, friendly service, and a welcoming community.

Animals have always been a huge part of our lives. Over the years, we’ve shared our home with dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, fish, crabs, a ball python, chinchillas, and just about everything in between! One of our chinchillas even lived to the incredible age of 20, despite only having two legs.

Our biggest inspiration is our bernedoodle, Milo, who is also the shop’s namesake. When he’s not greeting customers at the store, Milo works as a full-time Therapy Dog at Russell Chiropractic & Family Wellness.

We’re so excited to share our love of animals with the Sackville community and to make Milo’s Pet Shop a place where both pets and their people feel right at home!

Our Team

You might notice a few different friendly faces when you visit Milo’s Pet Shop—and there’s a good reason for that! We’re a family-owned business, and our team balances running the shop with family life and other commitments. While you may not see the same person every time you visit, you can always count on a warm welcome, helpful service, and a shared love for pets from everyone on our team.
